Because AAAAAH. I did the CrunchyRoll free trial for laughs - Sue me, I wanted to see what my friends were up to. I knew that it wasn't going to be good, and it certainly isn't, but I've having a delirious nostalgia freak out anyway. Three episodes in and getting a genuine kick out of it.

Best part was my girlfriend coming into the living room while I was firing up the first episode:

Her: "I thought that was Digimon for half a second."

Me: "IT IS."

Yes, this is it.

I thought it was pretty good, for Digimon. It's not like we're expecting Dostoevsky here.

Ha, right. It was the same lovable, reliable amount of nonsensical that it's always been. And that was sort of refreshing.

The theater showings here are so limited and it's almost 20 bucks a ticket. Feels weird that I'm probably going to be one of the last people to see it.
