Would there be any interest in a Digimon RP? Nothing too complicated-- Digivices like Adventure or possibly 02, starring a group of children or teens or young adults who are transported to the Digital World, meet partners, and have to take the adventure that meets them there?

I might be interested, but I'd have to join late due to school (exams and stuff :().

As long as it takes us to get a game up and running, that'd probably be how long it'd take to get going anyway.  8P
When are your exams?

I may or may not be interested. Kaizie was mentioning to me that she might bug indigo and start-back-up the post-apocalyptic Digimon RP 02 sequel we had going on the old board. If she gets that going, I'm not sure how much I'll be able to manage two Digimon RPs.

And as long as you don't make me come up with an extraordinarily long and detailed backstory when the premise is that we'll be whisked away to a world where that matters not. Though, I think I've complained about that enough to you that you won't hold me to that. =P

And you!
In the next few days I'll edit this post and lay out the ideas I have.
Please pitch them before I get tempted to pitch another D&D game where everything will fall through and nothing gets done and I feel I am a horrible failure after.

So, um, what if the Digimon RP turned out to be less Adventure like and more.... like this?

Uh, non-Digi-RP suggestion:

Lost Mine of Phandelver

More than five hundred years ago, clans of dwarves and
gnomes made an agreement known as the Phandelver's Pact,
by which they would share a rich mine in a wondrous cavern
known as Wave Echo Cave. In addition to its mineral wealth,
the mine contained a great magical power. Human spellcasters
allied themselves with the dwarves and gnomes to channel and
bind that energy into the Forge of Spells, a great forge where
magic items could be crafted. Times were good, and the nearby
human town of Phandalin prospered as well. But then disaster
struck when orcs swept through the North and laid waste to all
in their path.

A powerful force of orcs reinforced by evil mercenary wizards
attacked Wave Echo Cave to seize its riches and magic treasures.
Human wizards fought alongside their dwarf and gnome allies to
defend the Forge of Spells, and the ensuing spell battle destroyed
much of the cavern. Few survived the cave-ins and tremors, and
the location of Wave Echo Cave was lost.

For centuries, rumors of buried riches have attracted treasure
seekers and opportunists to the area around Phandalin, but no one
has ever succeeded in locating the lost mine. In recent years, people
have resettled the area. Phandalin is now a rough-and-tumble
frontier town. More important, the Rockseeker brothers--a trio of
dwarves--have discovered the entrance to Wave Echo Cave and
they intend to reopen the mines.

Unfortunately for the Rockseekers, they are not the only ones
interested in Wave Echo Cave. A mysterious villain known as the
Black Spider controls a network of bandit gangs and goblin tribes
in the area, and his agents have followed the Rockseekers to their
prize. Now the Black Spider wants Wave Echo Cave for himself, and
he is taking steps to make sure no one else knows where it is.

I'd be willing to give that a shot. Might need some help in my character creation process, but it's quite the interesting prompt.

The Basic Rules are pretty simple, I think. (Printer Friendly version.) I've got no problem helping people with making characters.

Heck, there's even pregens.

Oh, yeah, I get D&D rules. Just wasn't sure how exactly you want to play the entire setting, which could limit or expand my character's background, capabilities, etc. Or, y'know, if you wanted to do it like a tabletop.

Still down for this as long as it's okay with everyone else.
